Ash content of plastic materials (polyolefins)Gavimetric determination for the examination of films, granules etc. based on polyolefins (PE, PP) for percentage of inorganic fillers, pigments, anti-blocking agents etc. The chalk content of white pigments can be calculated from the weight loss due to carbonate splitting during two-stage annealing 600/950 °C. Further analytical investigations of the ash composition are possible on request.
