Resistance of a printed and/or lacquered surface to abrasion.The stress results from two surfaces in contact being displaced against or rubbed against each other.In the case of films, the test according to Dr. Ruf is frequently used. It can be tested dry (as received), moist (after storage in water) or after storage in liquid media/fillers or after other pre-treatments (sterilization, UV irradiation).
