multi method PAA of printing inks, clorants This multi-method currently contains about 30 primary aromatic amines (‘PAAs’) known as impurities or degradation products of pigments. For example, it contains all PAA that, according to the amendment of Annex II of Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 (15th amendment by Regulation (EU) 2020/1245), shall not be detectable with a limit of detection of 0,002 mg/kg food or food simulant applied to each individual primary aromatic amine (‘PAA’), latest from 24.02.2023. These are the primary aromatic amines listed in Annex XVII Appendix 8 to Entry 43 of Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006.
