Bond strength/peel force of laminates/multi-layer films/bondings (temperature range - 40 up to + 120 °C)
DIN 53357 A (historical)/ASTM F 904/DIN EN ISO 11339 peel test after separation of the laminated layers (accredited test method). In addition to determining the peel force to delaminate the laminate, we also evaluate and document the delamination characteristics resp. the delamination mechanism (peeling off of the printing ink?Remaining of the adhesive layer? Tearing of the film ? Transfer of ink to the opposite side of the material ? ...)
Sample over total width of material, minimum length: 0,5 m

bond strength/ ply adhesion acc. ASTM F 904 Bond Strength or Ply Adhesion of laminates made from flexible materials acc. to ASTM- test parameters as averrage force.
Note: It is known that the bednig stiffness acts on the result of the bond strength, so that a direct comparison of results found at different laminates, for example with different bending stiffness, can lead to misinterpretations. Norm: ASTM F 904
bond strength/ ply adhesion acc. DIN 55543-5 (hist DIN 53357 A) (standard test) Bond Strength or Ply Adhesion of laminates made from flexible materials acc. to withdrawn DIN 53357- A (without roller). The average bond strength then is calculated on the basis of 10 evenly over the measuring distance spread measurement points.
Note: It is known that the bednig stiffness acts on the result of the bond strength, so that a direct comparison of results found at different laminates, for example with different bending stiffness, can lead to misinterpretations. Norm: DIN 55543-5
